First Galaxy S25 FE update brings stock prices right to the Now Bar

Samsung has started pushing the initial software update for its freshest Fan Edition device, the Galaxy S25 FE. This rollout is hitting regions in Asia and Europe at the moment. The package delivers three key enhancements.

The top addition tweaks the Now Bar by linking it up with Google Finance, letting users spot stock prices straight from the lock screen. On top of that, it packs in the September 2025 security patch to seal off various vulnerabilities. Lastly, it refines the device’s general performance.

To catch those stock price alerts in the Now Bar, folks just need to toss a stock into their Google Finance list. From there, any sharp price swings spotted during market hours will show up in the Now Bar once trading wraps for the day. Samsung kicked off this handy option with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 earlier.

Judging by the fresh S25 FE tweak, it appears the brand plans to spread it across additional gadgets. The current firmware build for the Galaxy S25 FE is labeled S731BXXU1AYIB and clocks in at roughly 560.64 MB. Users can snag it via Settings, followed by Software update, and then Download and install. For those who like hands-on control, the file is available in our firmware archive for a manual setup through Samsung’s Odin utility.
