Samsung is getting very close to launching its newest major software update, called One UI 8 Watch, for the Galaxy Watch 6 and Galaxy Watch 6 Classic series. To make sure the software is perfect, the company just released the fourth test version (Beta 4). Releasing two test updates in just one week is a strong signal that the final, stable version is almost ready for everyone.

This latest test version, which has the build number ZYJ6, focuses mainly on making the watch more reliable and fixing small problems. Samsung has made changes to improve how smoothly the watch operates in everyday use. They’ve also worked on making the GPS more accurate and improving the battery life. It also includes the newest October 2025 security patch to keep the device safe and secure.

The main One UI 8 Watch update, which is built on Google’s Wear OS 6, is full of great new features for health and fitness. These new tools are designed to help people build better habits and manage their health easily.

Here are a few of the most important new health features coming with the full update:

  • Personal Bedtime Advice: The watch will now suggest the perfect time for you to go to sleep. It figures this out by looking at your sleep patterns from the last three days, aiming to help you feel as alert as possible the next morning.
  • Blood Vessel Health Check: A new feature called Vascular Load measures the stress on your blood vessel system while you are sleeping.
  • Running Coach: For runners, the watch can now act as a personal coach. It creates a special training plan based on your fitness level, helping you train safely for longer races like 5K, 10K, or even a marathon.
  • Antioxidant Scan: In just five seconds, the watch can measure the level of carotenoid antioxidants in your skin. These are the healthy compounds found in foods like oranges and green vegetables, and seeing this score can encourage you to eat better.

For now, only people in South Korea who are part of the test program can download this latest software. They can get it by using the Galaxy Wearable app on their paired phone. Since newer watches like the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch Ultra have already received the final One UI 8, the Watch 6 series is expected to get the official public release very soon.
