Google Fi gets HD calling, YouTube updates video player icon and Gemini redesigns its model switcher

Google is rolling out several updates across its products to enhance user experience — from clearer calls on Google Fi to visual changes on YouTube and Gemini.

Google Fi users are now getting HD calling support, making phone conversations sound more natural and detailed. The feature is already available on many Android devices and offers better voice clarity during calls. At the same time, Google is also updating the Gemini web interface with a new model switcher. The redesign makes it easier to switch between different Gemini models, like Gemini 1.5 Pro and Gemini 1.5 Flash, right from the top of the chat screen.
