Samsung fixes Galaxy Buds app errors and updates Galaxy S21 security
Samsung is currently rolling out two important updates for its users. The first is a fix for a common app glitch affecting Galaxy Buds, and the second is a new security patch for older flagship phones in the United States.
Galaxy Buds App Gets a Necessary Fix
Many people using Samsung Galaxy Buds recently ran into an annoying problem. While using the app, a message would constantly pop up saying, “Galaxy Buds keep stopping.” This error usually happened when the app was connected to a phone via Bluetooth, making it difficult for users to change their earbud settings or control their music properly.
Samsung has officially fixed this bug. The issue was found in an older version of the app (v8.0.00.2300). To stop the error message from appearing, you should update your app to version v8.0.00.2500 or higher.
How to update:
- Open the Galaxy Store on your phone.
- Search for Galaxy Buds.
Tap the Update button. Once the update is finished, your earbuds should connect and work smoothly without any more pop-up errors.
New Security Update for Galaxy S21 Series
In other news, Samsung has released the December 2025 security update for the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra in the U.S. This update is designed to keep your phone safe and help it run more reliably.
This particular update fixes about 68 different security vulnerabilities found in the Android system and Samsung’s own software. While it doesn’t add any flashy new features, it is a very important download to protect your personal data.
These phones are currently running on Android 15. Since they are older models, they are not expected to get the newer Android 16 update. This security patch is likely one of the last few updates these devices will receive before Samsung ends official support for them.
How to update:
- Go to your phone’s Settings.
- Tap on Software update.
- Select Download and install.
It is always a good idea to make sure your phone has plenty of battery life before starting an update. Keeping your apps and your phone’s system up to date is the best way to ensure everything works exactly as it should.
