Samsung Good Lock and Home Up apps receive latest updates

Samsung has recently rolled out new versions for two of its well-known customization apps on Galaxy smartphones: Good Lock and Home Up. These updates aim to fix a few small issues and improve how the apps work overall.

Starting with the Good Lock app, the new version is 3.0.14.2. This update focuses on solving a minor issue in the Galaxy Store. Some users noticed that after they finished installing the app, the store would still show the app as if it were still in the middle of installation. This update makes sure that once the app is done installing, it correctly shows as completed.

Next up is the Home Up app, which has been updated to version 17.0.00.48. This new version brings two main improvements. Most importantly, it now fully supports the newer One UI 8 operating system (which is built on Android 16). This ensures the app runs smoothly for users with the latest software.

Additionally, the update fixes a problem in the DIY Home feature, which is still being tested. Users were seeing the content inside their widgets appear larger than it should, but this issue has now been corrected. The team also used this opportunity to take care of a few other general software bugs.

Simply open the app, tap on the menu icon located in the upper-left corner of your screen, and then select the “Updates” option. You can then choose to update both Good Lock and Home Up individually, or you can select “Update All” at the top to get both at once. These new updates appear to be available everywhere for all users.
