Samsung is making it easier to personalize your phone with new updates for NavStar and Theme Park. These two popular tools, part of the Good Lock suite, have received several new features and improvements to help you customize the look and feel of your Galaxy device.

The update for NavStar focuses on a few key areas. First, it adds a “custom icon borders” option, although you may need to explore your specific model to determine exactly how it works. The app also changed how it handles permissions; it no longer asks to access your photos and videos, though it still works perfectly fine without them. Finally, the developers fixed some common bugs and crashes to make the app run more smoothly.

Theme Park received an even bigger update with six new changes. One of the handiest additions is the ability to “favorite” a theme. If you find a look you love, you can now tap a heart icon to bookmark it for later. The way you edit icons has also been improved with a cleaner layout split into three easy sections: Shape, Effects, and Icon. Inside those menus, you will find new creative options like “Emboss” and “Monochrome” to give your apps a unique style.

For users running the latest One UI 8.5 software, Theme Park now allows you to change the color of the notification badges on your home screen. There is also a better preview for how your icons will look in the Quick Panel.

If you want to try these new features, you can update both apps through the Galaxy Store. Just open the store, go to your menu, and check for updates to get the latest versions.
