Samsung may end Edge lineup and Galaxy S26 Ultra design leaks reveal big changes
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 series is making headlines — not just for its design leaks but also for a major lineup change. According to recent reports, Samsung might discontinue its long-running “Edge” series, which first introduced curved-edge screens back in 2014.
For years, the Edge models were known for their sleek design and curved displays that gave Galaxy phones their signature look. However, Samsung is now said to be moving away from that approach. Sources suggest the company plans to focus on the standard Galaxy S26 and S26 Ultra models instead, possibly marking the end of the “Edge” name in future flagship phones.
At the same time, a fresh case leak has revealed early details about the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s design. The new model appears to maintain the boxy shape seen in previous Ultra phones, but with slimmer bezels and a more refined camera layout. The case images suggest the camera lenses will remain individually separated, similar to the S24 Ultra, but aligned more neatly this time.
The leaked design hints that Samsung is sticking to a polished, professional look while making small but meaningful improvements. The phone is also expected to include titanium sides and come in several color options, with upgraded AI and camera features rumored to take center stage.
If the reports are accurate, the Galaxy S26 Ultra could become the highlight of Samsung’s next flagship lineup — while the once-iconic “Edge” name quietly fades into history.
