Samsung’s Budget Favorites: Galaxy M23 and A13 receive November 2025 safety update
Samsung has begun sending out its latest monthly security update for November 2025 to more of its affordable and mid-range phones. Two popular models, the Galaxy M23 5G and the Galaxy A13 5G, are now getting this important software fix.
Owners of the Galaxy M23 5G, also known as the Galaxy Buddy 2 in Korea, are seeing the new software appear in Korea first. This specific update is marked with the number M236LKSSCEYK1. At the same time, the Galaxy A13 5G is receiving the same safety improvements in the Philippines, using the update number A136BXXSDDYK2.
Since both of these devices have already reached their limit for major Android operating system upgrades—they are still running on Android 14—this newest software package does not come with any fresh features or new designs. Instead, its single focus is to make your phone more stable and much safer.
The November 2025 safety patch includes a total of 45 different security fixes that were provided by Samsung, Google, and other partners. These corrections are essential for keeping your device protected from various bugs, security risks, and problems that might impact your private information or performance.
Samsung is also sending out this same update to several other devices, including the Galaxy A34, A36, A06 5G, and A17 5G. Even though your phone might not get big operating system changes anymore, getting these regular security updates is very important. They keep your device safe from threats and help it run smoothly and reliably over time.
If you own one of these phones, you can easily check to see if the new software is ready for you. Simply go into your phone’s Settings, select Software update, and then tap on Download and install. Once the download is done, you can hit Install now to finish the process and apply the latest safety patch.
