Samsung’s One UI 8.5 Beta Program: Key dates and exciting new features revealed

It looks like Samsung is getting ready for its next big software improvement, called One UI 8.5. Even though this version is just a small update after the larger One UI 8.0, it seems the company is treating it like a major release, which is exciting news for phone owners. Usually, updates like this don’t get a public test phase, but reports suggest that users will be able to try it out early through a special program.

According to leaks and rumors, the test program for One UI 8.5 was originally supposed to start around the end of November for the Galaxy S25 phones. However, there are talks that Samsung might delay the launch of the new Galaxy S26 series, which the One UI 8.5 is built for.
