T-Mobile shut down Sprint’s LTE Network
According to The Verge, a T-Mobile spokesperson confirmed that the remaining LTE signal towers of the US wireless operator Sprint have begun to officially shut down. More than two years have passed since T-Mobile acquired Sprint in April 2020, including its network, stores, assets, spectrum, towers, and customers.

T-Mobile has decommissioned wireless spectrum for Sprint’s 3G and LTE networks to accelerate bandwidth growth and accelerate the rollout of its nationwide 5G network.
Moreover, T-Mobile faces many hurdles and opposition from regulators and critics who oppose the T-Mobile and Sprint merger, arguing that it could harm consumers and threaten jobs and businesses (third-party resellers), among others.
