UK homeowners with Samsung devices can now slash their energy bills in half

A historic agreement has been reached between Samsung Electronics and British Gas, a significant energy provider in the United Kingdom. Owners of specific Samsung home appliances can now take advantage of a special energy pricing plan.

In the UK, this is the first time an appliance manufacturer has partnered with an energy supplier to offer consumers a special, discounted rate. The announcement is made right before winter, when power costs typically skyrocket.

British Gas is offering a new price plan called the Samsung Weekend Saver Fix. It is open to anyone who currently owns or intends to purchase an eligible Samsung product. The finest aspect? Every Saturday afternoon, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., you can get half-price electricity under the plan.

People can schedule energy-intensive tasks, such as vacuuming, washing clothes, and running the dishwasher, during the times when power is most affordable, thanks to this timing, which is a huge advantage.

It’s an ingenious method of reducing household expenses. As an added benefit, British Gas customers who choose this plan are automatically entered into a drawing to win a year’s worth of free household energy. The value of that prize is approximately £1,755.

Customers must fulfill a few basic requirements in order to sign up. You must have a Samsung account and a smart electricity credit meter installed at home. Additionally, before October 31, 2026, you must either buy or already own an eligible device.

The list of gadgets is lengthy and includes some smaller ones in addition to large household appliances like vacuums, ovens, refrigerators, and washing machines.
