Yes! You read it right. Google Android 15 already started emerging in the headlines for its delicious codename – Vanilla Ice Cream. It’s not a surprise, as the company used to give codenames to its OS, and the possibility is they are always related to a dessert.

However, something more surprising than the codename is the ‘before time’ information about Android 15. While there is still no clue about when the tech maker will bring the 14th version in beta and stable format, the developers started preparing for a new chapter.

The tasty dessert details are coming from the well-known Android analyst – Mishaal Rahman. The observer shared a tweet with a snap, showcasing a huge bowl of vanilla ice cream. He further wrote that it’s way earlier than before, but Android 15 is here.

“It’s a bit earlier than usual, but it seems the internal dessert code-name for Android 15 V has been revealed: ‘Vanilla Ice Cream’.”

Of course, the leak for a new Android build took place quite earlier than expected. Besides, it is one step ahead of the previous time. For your information, the Android 14 codename came into existence around April, last year.
