Xiaomi rolled out the June 2022 security update for some devices in different markets. Now, the company is pushing new firmware updates including the June 2022 security patch to the Mi 10 users in India.

UPDATE 1: Mar 9, 2022 – Xiaomi Mi 10 installs January 2022 security update in Global ROM

Xiaomi Mi 10 device users have started receiving the January 2022 security patch across the globe. This security update is hovering around the globe through OTA (over the air) medium. Being an OTA update, it might take a few days to approach all the devices running on the Global ROM.

According to the update, the security patch appears on the platform of MIUI 12.5 which is formed on Android 11 OS. Additionally, it increases the persistency of the core structure. As well as, makes the security system firm and solid.

Update Instructions

For installing the updated security patch to Mi 10 devices, the users have to navigate to the Settings. Search for Passwords and Security and select it. Then, tap on Privacy and select Security Update. Finally, install the available update on the screen by selecting the Download and Install tab.
