Activision claims, developer of Crash Bandicoot is still working on the series

Crash Bandicoot developer Toys for Bob is now helping Raven software develop Call of Duty: Warzone, which was first revealed on the team’s Twitter account. While Call of Duty publisher Activision, which owns the toy for Bob, has now disputed the controversies and notes, suggesting that former toys for Bob’s staff are being removed behind the scenes, claiming that the studio is still crashing Bandicoot Working on the franchise.

“Bob for Toys Call of Duty: We are proud to support development for Warson’s Season 3 and look forward to more coming,” Boys with Bob tweeted.

“The development team is fully operational and has many full-time job opportunities at the moment. Studio Crash Band 4 is excited to continue to support Exploitation, it’s about time, and more recently, will provide additional development support for Call of Duty: Warzone.”

The news comes after a volatile year for Call of Duty Warzone. The game has been tough since the Black Ops Cold War consolidated the last year. This integration combined the development systems and weapons of both games but came with bugs and balance issues.

Since then, the community has been vocal about the many issues encountered in the game and it has become clear that Raven has no bandwidth to fix everything in time. Warzone remained in this shape from December 2020 to April 2021 – a long time for a big war royal game.

This is the first time Activision has transformed a studio into a supporting role. Following the launch of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 remake, the developer was transformed into a supporting role through the activation of  Vicarious Visions. Vicarius Vision no longer advances the original games and instead provides development support on the Blizzard Entertainment title. Fans are worried that this could be the fate of the toy for Bob.

Activision President and COO Daniel Alegre have confirmed that the developers are creating the game “for the next generation” and it will be released in the fall of 2021. The publisher is looking forward to the opportunity to “share more details with the community soon.” The new game in the series is traditionally announced in March-May.

Alegre did not share plans for the release of PS4 and Xbox One, but the company is unlikely to give up the huge potential player base of old consoles due to financial losses. Call of Duty 2021 will be heavily integrated with the Call of Duty Warzone battle royale, but details are unknown.
