Samsung updated Expert RAW camera app with couple of new features

Earlier this year, with the launch of Galaxy S22 smartphone Samsung introduced the Expert Raw camera application and now it is available for several smartphones and is expected to be released to more users in the coming days. So far company updated it with many updates and now a new update is been released by the company.

According to the new information, Samsung recently rolled out a new update for the famous Expert Raw App, this new update brings two new features, and the company took this decision for the welfare of the consumers. The South Korean tech giant considered the opinions of several consumers and then added two new features.

Now let’s get to know what these two features bring to the users the first feature will let users define a custom preset for frequently used camera settings and save it for quicker access. Secondly, the update will introduce a new Save Format menu which will include both RAW and JPEG formats. The upcoming Save Format menu will give users access to three new options, allowing them to save images in either RAW, JPEG, or both formats.

The Camera in charge of the post also included the Expert Raw support schedule for the devices including Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, S20 Ultra and Z Fold 2 which was earlier scheduled for the first half of the year but till now there is no update available for these devices and now it is been delayed and scheduled for the September patch.

Additionally, the post also mentions a piece of bad news for the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphone users, the camera in charge says that the device will not support the Telephoto lens because of the Hybrid Optic 10x telephoto lens as it can not support the Bayer Raw imagery.
