Users dealing with charging issues on Samsung devices following One UI 6.1 update 

In January 2024, Samsung launched the Galaxy S24 series packed with advanced Galaxy AI features and One UI 6.1. However, Samsung has also expanded the reach of the One UI 6.1 update to more Galaxy devices, leading to a seamless experience.

Despite being the most prominent update, One UI 6.1 is leading users to face some charging-related issues. Yes, a recent input suggests that some consumers of Samsung devices are dealing with charging issues after installing the One UI 6.1 update.

One UI 6.1 charging issues on Samsung Devices 

A user of Galaxy Z Fold 5 states that his phone is getting charged at a slow speed even after powering a 25W charger. So, if you’re one of those users experiencing difficulties with your device’s charging, you’re not alone as One UI 6.1 has suppressed the charging speed to around 15W.

However, this issue of slower charging is currently encountered on Galaxy S23 series and fifth-generation foldable phones. While there are no such reports arrived from the users of the Galaxy Tab S9 series.

A Galaxy device owner says,

  • “Attention People using fast charger for s23 Ultra, now the charging speed is limited to 15W, even if u have 25W brick.”

However, the Korean tech giant does not seem to be aware of this issue at the moment, and once the firm encounters this problem then we can expect a fix for it. Because Samsung is known to offer its users a smooth and hassle-free performance.
