We already have a hands-on video of the unreleased Huawei P40 Series

Huawei will launch the Huawei P40 series on March 26 at an event in Paris, exactly 1 year after it revealed the Huawei P30 series in the French. Huawei Business Group chairman Richard Yu said the Huawei P40 will be, “the world’s most powerful 5G flagship”.

EMUI 11 for Huawei and Honor: List of Eligible Devices, Release Date, and Features

Before the official launch, we already have a hands-on video of the Huawei P40 series prototype, thanks to Digital Trends.

The publication is not sure that the phone is Huawei P40 or P40 Pro. But if you see previous Huawei P40 Pro leaks, the design seems different, which has a different camera setup. It could be the Huawei P40 (assuming).

The phone is looking a little thicker and lighter than the Huawei P30 Pro. There was no fingerprint sensor, so you can expect an under-display scanner.

In the camera department, it has a similar camera setup as the Huawei P30 Pro. There’s a periscope sensor for the zoom. In addition, the camera area is longer, less curved, and a little wider than the P30 Pro. There could be a ToF sensor, a microphone hole, and a flash unit.

According to rumors, the device will have a 52MP sensor, a 40MP sensor, and an 8MP telephoto lens. The Huawei P40 Pro may bring the 4 camera setup or even five on the back, with the ability to take 10x optical zoom.
