OnePlus 12 is the upcoming flagship phone that has now appeared in the leak department for its camera specs. After the CAD renders that have shown outstanding snaps of the upcoming top-end model, it’s time to have our eyes on the interesting optical details.
Recently, the famed tech tipster @DigitalChatStation shared a new post on the Weibo platform and revealed the camera specs for OnePlus 12 smartphone. While the specs are quite similar to the ones we found in the concept renders theory, some new details hint at the capabilities that we could get in the optical framework.
To begin with, OnePlus 12 will sport a 50MP IMX9xx (1/1.4x”) main camera which belongs to the latest Sony sensor lineup and is said to be the super large camera tech. Speaking more about this element, the sensor allows smartphones to carry more room in the camera module as compared to predecessors.
On the other hand, the size intake more light to capture bright images with fast readout speed. The IMX9 series sensor also comes with a dynamic range to enable low-light performance. Though things are not confirmed, we might find the IMX989 sensor on board.
Ahead, the tipster quoted that there will be a 50MP ultra-wide and a 64MP OV64B 3x periscope lens, blessed with the 4th-gen Hasselblad branding. Moving ahead, the tipster said that the overall design will be identical to the previous handset (OnePlus 11). Though it will slightly differ from the renders.
