Samsung Galaxy Watch 7:

According to rumors, Samsung will use a 3nm Exynos chip for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7, a first for the company. It will be called W940, based on the current naming pattern.

In the past, Samsung used the 10nm Exynos 9110 SoC for the Galaxy Watch 1, 2, and 3, the 5nm Exynos W920 for the Galaxy Watch 4 and 5, and finally, a boosted 5nm W930 chip in the Galaxy Watch 6 with an 18% clock boost and 25% loading time increase compared to W920.

According to New Daily, the new chip “improves power consumption by 50%, performance by more than 30%, and reduces area by 35%,” compared to 5nm chips like the W930.

Samsung Galaxy S25:

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset is anticipated to have significant performance improvements, but its switch to Oryon architecture could also lead to a higher cost. It will not only affect Samsung’s Galaxy S25 devices but also other Android phones like the Xiaomi 15 series.

However, if Qualcomm increases its prices in 2025, Samsung may have to increase the price of the Galaxy S25. There’s no sign of an increase for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
