We have witnessed several leaks and rumors about a Galaxy Watch FE model in the past. Meanwhile, a new input claims that an affordable Samsung Galaxy Watch with two different variants is on its way. This news might have spread a wave of excitement among tech enthusiasts.
In a recent development, the Android Headlines team has spotted a new build on the Samsung OTA server, which indicates that a Wi-Fi variant of Galaxy Watch FE is in development. The same source previously revealed a test build of a cheaper Galaxy Watch with LTE connectivity.
As per the details, the LTE variant of Galaxy Watch FE will reportedly come with an SM-R866 model number. While the newly spotted Wi-Fi variant of the affordable watch carries the SM-R861 model number. However, it was not expected that the affordable wearable may also come in different variants.
FYI, the new Wi-Fi variant of Galaxy Watch FE has been spotted with software version R861XXU0AXE5/R8610XM0AXE5. Accordingly, the first-ever affordable Galaxy Watch will be available in several markets including South Korea, Europe, Turkey, and more.
