Apple iOS 16.5 likely to debut next week with these features

Apple is busy readying the iOS 17 upgrade for its users but before that, iOS 16.5 is all set to make its debut with ultimate features on the next week. Eventually, Apple iPhone holders don’t have to wait much to grab some sound improvements.

The information further reveals that the Apple iOS 16.5 and its significant features will appear with the 20F65 build version. As usual, the firmware will initially travel to developers for a keen inspection of bugs and issues. Thereafter, it will reach general users.

To those who are unaware, iOS 16.5 was underway since March this year. Being a minor update, it won’t hold huge changes. Yet, iPhone users will find stability improvements for the devices. In addition, it will bear optimizations for battery and other key aspects of the handset.

Alongside this, two new features will arrive with the iOS 16.5 update. The first one is the Sports Tab in Apple News. From the name, it will be a dedicated space in the application that will offer easy access to news, scores, and schedules for your favorite games.

Next will be screen recordings via Siri. Not a massive but useful tweak for users. Ultimately, the upcoming iOS version will let its users initiate screen recording with voice commands without touching the phone’s screen.

All you have to do is, command Siri “Hey Siri, start a screen recording”. You can further stop the action by commanding for the same. On the flip side, you will still have the ability to start the screen recording feature from the Control Center.
