Apple’s new Mac Mini PC to get a powerful and improved M1 processor

Apple is preparing a new, more powerful version of its Mac mini. The device will be positioned as a premium, or professional, and stand out both with a wider range of ports and a more productive platform.

The source does not name the platform, but previously there were rumors where it was called Apple M2 or Apple M1X.

The new platform will have 10 processor cores, of which only two will be energy efficient, that is, the performance should be much higher than that of the M1.

In addition, the new platform will receive support for 64 GB of RAM instead of 16 GB for the current one. The same SoC will form the basis of the new MacBook Pro.  In terms of ports, the new Mac mini (Mac mini Pro?) Is credited with four Thunderbolt connectors.
