Apple seeds Safari 17 beta for macOS Ventura and Monterey users

Apple has started rolling out the Safari 17 beta for macOS 12 (Monterey) and 13 (Ventura) users. Accordingly, the new build has several features and a few useful enhancements. It further optimizes a variety of internal tweaks and functions for Mac device users.

To begin with, Apple Safari 17 beta for macOS users includes JPEG XL and HEIC media formats. Besides, it supports Live Text as well as splits the browsing history and website settings with topics like Work and Personal.

Ahead, the latest beta build enables new capabilities where users can share their passwords and passkeys with trusted members. Web developers also gain new updates comprising refreshed Responsive Design mode. On the flip side, the developer menu gets a revamped look and lets you easily find tools for creating and testing websites or web apps.

Moreover, the beta adds new Feature Flags settings that allow users to search for specific features and try them out. As per the macOS versions, some of these features may not appear with the stable release. Though it is still a lot better than previous builds.
