Today, DuckDuckGo announced Q1 2023 features for all of the users. It brings several new improvements as well as optimizations for the search engine’s user experience.

Search result relevancy:
Users in Germany, Switzerland, Canada, France, and the Netherlands can now take advantage of the relevant search results. This new addition will also help to improve organic search results for popular searches, including searches to find a website or web page.
MLB Instant Answer:
Now you can interact with an updated Major League Baseball instant answer feature with game schedules, real-time and past scores, and league standings.
Site Exclusion:
If you don’t want to see a website in the search result, this update is for you. For example, if you’re looking for floral arrangements and you don’t want to see results from Pinterest, enter “floral arrangements -site: Pinterest” in the search bar.
Site-specific Search:
Now you can submit a query like “Where do ducks go in the winter? Reddit” and select Filter Results to get the same search results — no need for site: syntax.
This will give you more access to site-specific searches for popular sites such as Reddit.
DuckDuckGo for iOS:
Time to get better cookie management on iOS devices. This is because the search engine has added a new cookie pop-up management feature on iOS.
The feature automatically tries to choose the most private settings for cookie pop-ups and hide them. You can always enable cookie pop-up management in Settings under privacy.
For Mac:
The DuckDuckGo app is now available on Mac App Store. However, you can still download it from the official website.
