General Motors will announce its electric vehicle production plan on April 6, 2021, Eastern Time. General Motors, the largest automaker by sales in North America, is increasingly betting on the future of electric vehicles.

In August last year, the company stated that it plans to invest more than US$20 billion in electric vehicles and autonomous driving by 2025. The company also plans to launch 30 electric vehicles by 2025, including four brands: Cadillac, GMC, Chevrolet, and Buick.

Recently, General Motors released the Hummer electric SUV, this car has a maximum cruising range of about 563 kilometers under EPA conditions and only needs 3 seconds to accelerate from 100 kilometers. It is planned to go on sale this fall.

As reported, General Motors‘ Hummer brand had previously discontinued production, but in January last year, the company announced that it would relaunch the Hummer brand model. In October last year, the company launched the Hummer electric pickup.
