Google Wallet now supports Driver’s License and State IDs in three more states

Google Wallet is now expanding its horizons by allowing users in three additional states to store their driver’s licenses and state IDs. This means that alongside payment methods, loyalty cards, and transit passes, you can now carry your essential identification documents securely on your mobile device.

The three states that have been added to the list of those supporting driver licenses and state IDs in Google Wallet are Arizona, Colorado, and Georgia. This expansion follows the successful implementation of the feature in several other states and is part of Google’s efforts to make digital identification more accessible and secure.

Last December, Maryland was the first state to support digital IDs in Google Wallet on Android, and now the four-state availability in Google Wallet matches what’s currently live on the iPhone.
