Twist! T-Mobile announces to release of a possible Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 update for the OnePlus 7T smartphone users. Ya, it’s quite surprising, as the OnePlus 7T launched with Android 10 and will be eligible to receive 2 major software updates which is concluded with the recently released Android 12.

However, the OnePlus is still working to expand the Android 12-based OxygenOS 12 update for OnePlus 7T users in many regions. This development of new software updates at T-Mobile for respective devices is quite unrealistic for the users.

But we cannot wholly neglect this information, it may possible that OnePlus to allege with T-Mobile for an Android 13 major software update for the 3+year-old OnePlus 7T.

But in the meantime, users are demanding the assured Android 12 update in some regions: User statement:

Can you remember how many times OnePlus support has assured users that the Android 12 update is already available when it actually wasn’t yet released? This could be more of the same but this time from T-Mobile.

Well, it’s really interesting to see what will happen next. Also, this information is out from T-Mobile only. OnePlus has not given its official word on this matter so far,

Additionally, T-Mobile shares some more OnePlus devices that will possible receive an Android 13-based OxygenOS 13 which includes:

  • OnePlus 8
  • OnePlus 7T
  • OnePlus Nord N200
  • OnePlus 8T+
  • OnePlus 9
  • OnePlus 9 Pro

Except for the OnePlus 7T smartphone, all the OnePlus devices are eligible to get the Android 13 update. However, it might be a typo by T-Mobile Carrier, as it is risky to release a major software update when it is not eligible to receive, or even the company is not ready to send the OxygenOS 13 update.

Well, we have to wait for the OnePlus official word or for another step from T-Mobile on this matter.
