OnePlus finally responded to the battery issues that often come along with the OxygenOS 13 upgrade. It’s time to know why your smartphone consumes extreme power after installing the major firmware.
As usual, the tech maker sat around the table and appeared with the monthly FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) session. Herein, OnePlus replied to several queries that are either related to the general issue or are constantly interrupting the user experience.
Consequently, one of the toughest issues that OnePlus fans have been reporting since the OxygenOS 13 upgrade installation is battery draining. Not one or two but a large number of users complained about the same problem.
Well, thankfully, the OnePlus community moderator collected the feedback and replied on why the issue kept emerging on the device. Further, he mentioned how you can manage and get rid of this trouble.
To begin with, the moderator said that setting up your phone, installing new firmware, updating applications, restoring data, and upgrading the OS lead to a lot of battery consumption. This mainly happens when you come across a big upgrade.
Although, a useful tip can help you out. All you have to do is, plug the phone in the adapter and let it charge to 100% with no interaction. Thereafter, leave the device on charge for an extra 20 to 30 minutes. This will allow the operating system to optimize completely.
Ahead, the moderator said that doing this activity once per week can ensure you get full use of your phone’s battery. Although, if the issue still exists after following the above process, you can dial *#800# to enter the “Feedback toolbox” and catch the battery function log you want to report (applicable only in India).
