Today, the Android smartphone has evolved giving more possibilities to its users, and day by day every tech firm is thinking more to add prime opportunities to their smartphones. Along the way of this progress, OnePlus has carved a niche for itself, challenging other popular brands like Samsung and Apple. Well, that is a huge topic but here in this article, we will be discussing two different OS – OnePlus OxygenOS 12.1 and Samsung One UI 4.1, specifically their dark mode.

OnePlus OxygenOS 12.1 has a sleek design and a modern look. Also, it offers to customize Dark Mode, which you can adjust between three levels: Gentle, Medium, and Enhanced. A custom dark mode lets you switch between a light gray and a black or black scheme.

The Dark Mode feature is now common in all Android smartphones. And developers are starting to add more customizations to the mode: OnePlus OxygenOS 12.1 has the ability to customize Dark Mode with three presets available. Apart from customizing the dark mode, you can also enable the mode manually. You can also adjust brightness settings based on ambient light conditions. This makes a huge difference in everyday use.

Samsung One UI 4.1 Dark Mode

Samsung One UI 4.1 has made quiet but very amazing improvements to Dark Mode. The wallpaper, icons, and images are automatically darkened to create a more consistent look and feel. Samsung’s One UI brings a seamless mobile experience to Galaxy smartphones through simple, fluid functionality and a clean, beautiful design.

Samsung One UI 4.1 Dark Mode automatically darkens your wallpapers and icons to help you live comfortably in low-light environments. And the images in Samsung apps now have darker versions for a more consistent experience and are easier on the eyes.

In addition, Samsung also provides the ability to set websites to dark or light mode even if your phone has dark mode turned off. You can also change the website brightness to dark mode using the slider in Samsung Internet Settings.

And most interestingly, OnePlus with its OxygenOS and Samsung with its One UI broke their own records in making their operating system and its custom skins at the top of the line and it will continue to do so.
