We are in the mid of August, and the POCO C40 smartphone users are still collecting the July 2023 Android security update in some markets. The update aims to strengthen the overall security of the device and improve the core mechanism, in order to maintain reliability.
It further includes a number of bug fixes and performance enhancements to ensure that the device runs as efficiently as possible, for a heightened experience. Notably, the July 2023 update for POCO C40 devices was earlier released in Global and European regions, and is now live in Indonesia.

To check and download the update manually
Open the Settings app on your phone, scroll down, and hit About Phone. From this screen, choose System Updates. Find the most recent update, then click the Download and Install button when it appears. Restart your phone after installation.
