PUBG released new update for strengthen anti-cheat measures

According to the latest information, the PUBG battlegrounds mobile has been released a new update for Survivors with Android devices.


This update will appear as an optional update until 11:00 (UTC+0). After this time, it will become an essential update that means without downloading this update your android device will not be able to access the game.

However, this firmware is mandatory for all users and without downloading this you will not jump back into the battleground. To be noted, this update for Survivors with iOS devices is currently in the work and will be available for download in the near future.

This update must be downloaded through Google Play and the Galaxy Store. You will be prompted to download the update when you launch the game, so make sure to get the latest version before jumping back into the Battlegrounds.

How to download:

  1. Go to your device’s home screen and tap on the App Store icon.
  2. Select the Updates icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
  3. Tap the Update All button at the top of the screen.
  4. Enter your password, and click “Yes” to any alerts that pop up for specific apps that need updating.
