Realme X3/X3 SuperZoom gets January 2021 security update along with system optimizations

Realme has started to roll out a new firmware update for the Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom smartphones. Identified via build version RMX2081PU_11.A.49, this update mainly installs the latest Android security patches released in January 2021. It helps user’s devices stay secured against different levels of threats and exploits.

Apart from the security update, this new software fixes the camera failure issue while taking pictures in Ultra-wide mode preview. Moreover, it also solves the no sound error while playing music in a car by connecting Bluetooth.

On the other hand, it brings system performance and stability optimizations to the Realme X3 and Realme X3 SuperZoom phones as well as standby power consumption for increased user experience. Aside from these revisions, the changelog shows that the update also fixes the occasional phone restarting issue.

Furthermore, the Chinese phone maker has also started the Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 Early Access program for several eligible devices including the Realme X3 lineup. The Early Access activity lets users start using the features of Realme UI 2.0 before its public release.

To check for the latest software update manually, just head into the device Settings and tap on the Software Updates menu. You can Download and Install the latest update now.
