In a recent development, Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite has begun collecting the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 software update in the United States. Identified via the build version T227USQU3BVGB, the major software update comes with a slew of new features and improvements over the previous.


According to the official changelog, the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite gets the Color Palette feature that will let you customize your device’s theme based on your wallpaper’s color. The Camera app now has a simpler, improved layout for Main and Pro modes.

Moreover, the Home screen widgets are redesigned for better visibility and ease of use. The new widget list gives you more information at a glance and lets you personalize and decorate your home screen. Whereas, with Advanced Quick Take, you can hold the Shutter button to record video.

Other than these, the company has also significantly worked on enhancing the device’s security. You can now take control of your privacy with the new Privacy Dashboard, Permission Controls, and Camera & Microphone Indicator.
