Twitter pushed out $8/month blue tick verification service for Apple users

Twitter updated its application in the Apple App Store on Saturday and began to support a fee of $8 for Blue V certification, which is the result of Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter. The first major revision of the platform.

In an update to the iOS version, Twitter said users who “Sign Up Now” for $7.99 per month can receive a blue checkmark next to their username, which will be available in the U.S., Canada, and launched in Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.

In addition, Musk said that Twitter will soon launch the ability to attach long text to tweets, and no longer have to attach long screenshots to tweets.
