YouTube TV causes buffering issues for iOS and iPad users, fix coming soon

Google has recently confirmed that YouTube TV is causing buffering issues for some Apple iPhone and iPad users. However, the company won’t take much time to release a new bug-fix update for this troubling defect.

According to the information, a few iPhone and iPad device owners are facing buffer issues on YouTube TV. Notably, the issue is mainly affecting the live content through YouTube Primetime Channels, but not the general YouTube content.

The overall defect leads to the freezing of the application. It looks like the buffering issues are fairly widespread from the looks of it but are limited only to iOS. Android, TVs, and other platforms seem unaffected, as does Apple TV. Don’t worry as the YouTube TV community manager stated:

“The engineering team is aware that some of you are experiencing buffering issues while watching live content on YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels across iOS mobile devices. They’re working on a fix and I’ll circle back when I have updates to share. Thanks for your patience!”
