Apple Vision Pro lacks Wi-Fi 6E support confirms FCC Certification

Apple is all set to unveil its first 3D camera the Vision Pro at the beginning of February 2024, and just a few weeks before its official launch, the device appeared on FCC certification suggesting the absence of Wi-Fi 6E connectivity. However, this news may disappoint some users, so let’s delve into the details.

According to the details, Apple Vision Pro recently received FCC approval in the U.S., and the certification shows that the headset does not have any approved operating frequencies in the 6 GHz range, confirming that it lacks Wi-Fi 6E support. While, it may come with regular Wi-Fi 6, which operates on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands.

Notably, the Wi-Fi 6E extends the capabilities of the regular Wi-Fi 6 standard to the 6 GHz band, enabling faster wireless speeds and reduced signal interference with a compatible device and router.

However, the Apple Vision Pro is set to go up for pre-order on Friday, January 19 at 5:00 a.m. Pacific Time and it’s price starts at $3,500.
