NVIDIA Q3 revenue rise to 7.1 billion USD, net profit increased by 84% year-on-year

NVIDIA released its third-quarter financial report after the market, with revenue of 7.1 billion US dollars, surpassing the expected 6.81 billion US dollars, an increase of 50% compared with the 4.726 billion US dollars in the same period last year. An increase of 9% compared to the US$6.507 billion in the previous quarter.

Moreover, Q3 net profit was US$2.464 billion, an increase of 84% compared to US$1.336 billion in the same period last year, and an increase of 4% compared to US$2.374 billion in the previous quarter; net profit not in accordance with US GAAP was US$2.973 billion.

This is an increase of 62% compared to the US$1.834 billion in the same period last year, and an increase of 13% compared to the US$2.623 billion in the previous quarter. While the gaming business revenue was US$3.22 billion, passing the expected 3.18 billion US dollars; the data center business revenue was 2.94 billion US dollars, surpassing the expected 2.69 billion US dollars.

Furthermore, Nvidia’s stock price has risen by 125% since 2021, and announced a series of new hardware and software products related to its Omniverse metaverse, autonomous vehicles, and artificial intelligence.
