ASUS and ROG revealed Android 13 roadmap for their smartphones

ASUS and ROG are two different manufacturers with the same brand, it carries superior smartphones such as the Zenfone series and some high-end flagship gaming smartphones. Both ASUS and ROG have recently revealed the official roadmap of Android 13 for eligible devices.


According to the information, ASUS and ROG have shared the Android 13 update rollout plan for the smartphone on their social media profiles. The shared post indicates that several devices will experience the latest offerings of Android 13.

Going by the post, the Zenfone 9 will be the first smartphone to get the latest Android 13 update in December 2022. Further, the other devices will start receiving the update from January 2023 including the Zenfone 8. You can check the complete list of devices below.


  • Zenfone 9: From December 2022
  • Zenfone 8 series: from January 2023


  • ROG Phone 6D / 6D Ultimate: From Q1 2023
  • ROG Phone 6/6 Pro: From Q1 2023
  • ROG Phone 5/5s series: from Q2 2023

As you can check above, the ROG Phones including ROG Phone 6, 6 Pro, 6D, and 6D Ultimate will be getting an Android 13-based software update sometime in the first quarter of 2023. Whereas, the ROG Phone 5 and 5S series will get the update sometime in the second quarter of 2023.

Notably, the company has also mentioned that the actual timeline for the update rollout may differ based on regions and conditions. This new major update will give users an all-new and great user interface with improved customization options.
