[Widely available] Samsung is rolling out a new software update with a green tint fix for the Galaxy S20

Samsung is rolling out an important software update for the Galaxy S20 series. The latest update includes a fix for the green tint display issue. This update is currently rolling out in Germany. This update should be available to other regions in the coming days.

Here’s the list of eligible Samsung devices that will get the One UI 3.0/Android 11

Software versions:

  • Galaxy S20 Ultra: G988BXXU1ATD3
  • Galaxy S20+: G985FXXU1ATD3
  • Galaxy S20: G980FXXU1ATD3

After installing this update, there’s no green tint on the display at low brightness levels. We only reported the display issue on the Galaxy S20 Ultra but the company released the update for the Galaxy S20 and S20+ as well.

The update also brings some system improvements and the April 2020 security patch. The size of the software package is around 150MB.

If you want to check for the update manually, just head into the device Settings, tap on the Software update menu and go for the Download and install option.
