Google rolled out Android 14 QPR2 Beta 3.1 with various fixes

Google has recently dropped the Android 14 QPR2 Beta 3.1 update for several Pixel devices including Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel Tablet and Pixel Fold. Notably, this latest version of Android 14 brings a slew of fixes to optimize the experience.

According to the details, the Android 14 QPR2 Beta 3.1 has arrived with version AP11.231215.009 and brings with it the all-new January 2024 security patch. Accordingly, the offerings of the software are included in a 22MB package, so the users of Pixel devices are recommended to maintain sufficient storage.

Moving on, the latest version brings a fix for the issue where the default search engine for the device would sometimes be set to the wrong provider after restoring device data from a cloud backup and where the display area of Quick Settings didn’t update correctly after changing the system display size in accessibility settings.

It also fixes an issue that sometimes causes degraded audio quality when making calls or recording using the microphone and the work profile icons were not shown for work apps when the work profile was paused. However, you can check the full details of Android 14 QPR2 Beta 3.1 below.
