Last month, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite device surprisingly started getting the One UI 3.0 including the Android 11 firmware update. However, the company had scheduled this device for January to get the Android 11 update. Meanwhile, the major platform update for this device is now available widely.
According to the latest news, Samsung has started to roll out a new software update to the Galaxy S10 Lite smartphones. It installs the January 2021 security patch which brings fixes for 1 critical and 47 high levels of CVEs.

Other than the security patch, this new OTA doesn’t bring any new features to its system software. Besides, it enhances the system functions for better device performance.
Recently, the Galaxy S10e, S10, S10+, and S10 5G phones have also received the stable One UI 3.0 update with January 2021 security patch.
How to check for updates manually:
- Open device Settings
- Select Software updates option
- Hit on Download and install button.
