Last week, Samsung rolled out the May 2023 Android security update for the owners of the Galaxy S7 series, meanwhile, the fixes and improvements of the latest firmware are now available for the Fan Edition model as well. However, the company is dispatching the patch for all eligible gadgets gradually.
The May 2023 update is currently rolling out for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE consumers living in Europe and Brazil. However, the company will not let other market users wait for too long. Simultaneously, the owners of the big-screen devices will be able to identify the firmware via the One UI build version mentioned below.

- Brazil – T735XXU3CWE1
Talking about the offerings, the changelog of the patch didn’t mention any particular feature or major optimization for the Fan Edition variant of Tab S7. But being a regular monthly firmware it will definitely improve the core mechanism of the system and make the device more safe and secure by enhancing the safety measures.
In addition, it will also resolve some common bugs and issues that may have been discovered in the system, reducing the risk of system crashes and data loss. Furthermore, the May month security patch bulletin also mentions fixes for over 58 common vulnerability exposures and 21 Samsung vulnerability exposures.
Aside from all these the owners of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE may also notice some significant performance boost or any new feature, after upgrading the device to the May 2023 update.
However, the update is rolling out through the OTA (over-the-air) method. Thus, it may take some time to reach all the eligible units in the countries. In case, you don’t want to wait for the OTA, then you can install the update manually bu following some simple steps. Visit the Settings of your device, tap on the Software Update menu, hit the Download & Install key and follow the onscreen instructions.
