Microsoft Windows 10 KB5001391 optional update brings a display bug rather than solving

Microsoft recently released an optional update for Windows10 KB5001391, which solves some of the problems of the previous cumulative update. However, according to Windows Latest reports, the update also caused some bugs, which can cause some users to green screen.

According to reports, some computers with Intel Rapid Storage Driver (RST) installed, after installing the Win10 21H1 optional update KB5001391, will have a green screen for one minute, and then automatically restart, uninstall the update to solve the problem.

Microsoft has resolved the issue in the May 2021 update. At the same time, Microsoft has also fixed the audio driver issue, which is expected to be released soon.

The most important new feature in the May 2021 update is support for external Windows Hello cameras. In the initial update log, Microsoft pointed out that when the internal camera already exists, users can now use the external camera as the default solution for Windows Hello.
