Xiaomi is releasing a new MIUI 12.5 beta update for its eligible Mi and Redmi phones in China. Identified via the build version 21.11.2, this firmware adds many new functionalities as well as optimizations, and bug fixes.
As per the changelog, it adds a new adaptive smart toolbox that includes shorthand entry, and a new smart toolbox to support the application to open in the form of a small window. In addition, it optimizes the preview of handwritten notes on the mobile phone to support sharing as well as the long screenshot experience of the note editing page.
