Nothing Phone (1) getting yet another firmware update for the smartphone. The latest update for Phone 1 comes with Nothing OS version 1.1.3 and is around 65MB in size. This is the third software update for the Nothing Phone (1) with a huge list of changes including new features, camera improvements, and bug fixes.

Carl Pei the founder of Nothing brand has confirmed this rollout through its official Twitter account and also said that this update will be rolled out gradually. Talking about this software update, it brings major optimization to the camera and adds some new features to the Phone (1). It comes with an upgraded Nothing OS 1.1.3 version that adds Google’s adaptive battery feature and redesigns the fingerprint user interface.

Now, the resolution of the selfie camera hasn’t improved, and the brand has also improved the processing time of photos taken in HDR modes for Phone (1). Furthermore, users will also experience the rich color saturation of the ultra-wide camera. It also fixed an issue that caused apps like Twitter and the Play Store to stutter.

  • Impoved photo clarity when using the front camera.
  • Faster Night Mode and HDR photo processing time.
  • Richer colour saturation when using the ultra-wide camera.
  • Reduced noise and increased sharpness when using zoom.
  • Added reminder to clean the camera lenses.

Bug fixes and performance optimizations

  • Resolved an issue that caused stuttering in some apps like Twitter, Play Store etc.
  • Resolved an issue that prevented mobile hotspot from working properly.
  • Fixed issue that caused the lock screen to crash after tapping on a notification and then trying to use finger unlock.
  • Polished minor UI details.
  • General bug fixes.

As said before, Carl Pei says that the update will be rolled out in phases, so it isn’t available to everyone right now. The company will release Nothing OS 1.1 in the coming weeks.
