The Galaxy Note 9 is getting a new One UI 2.5 update. The software version of this new update is N960FXXU6FTJ5. It has the same changelog as the FTJ3 and adds the October 2020 security patch.

On August 05, 2020, Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 20 series, alongside the company introduced the new version of One UI, One UI 2.5.

Samsung is now rolling out the One UI 2.5 update to the Galaxy Note 9 smartphone. The update is now rolling out in Germany. It comes with many new camera features, DeX, gesture navigation, and more. The One UI 2.5 is still based on Android 10. You can check the complete features here.

Samsung will gradually start rolling out the One UI 2.5 to the Galaxy Note 9 units all around the globe. The software version of this update is N960FXXU6FTJ3. It also adds the October 2020 security patch.

If you want to check for the update manually, just head into the device Settings and tap on the Software update menu and go for the Download and install option.
