After the initial rollout in Russia, the August 2023 security patch is now making its way to the POCO C51 smartphone users in India. This new security patch will offer improved protection against harmful threats, viruses, and other safety-related assaults, thus, it’s recommended to upgrade your device to the latest version.
The consumers of POCO C51 devices will be able to determine the August 2023 security patch via the MIUI build version V14.0.8.0.TGOINXM and need to download a 1.2GB package size in India.
Consequently, the update is rolling out via the OTA (over-the-air) method and it will be available for every eligible unit in the coming hours. However, the users of the corresponding model can also install the patch manually by following some simple steps.
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap on the About Phone option.
- Click on the System and Update menu.
- Fetch for the latest MIUI version.
- Once you find the mentioned version
- Hit the Download button and Install the update.
- Also, Reboot the device after installation.
