Xiaomi is rolling out the Android 13-based MIUI 14 major software update for more users of POCO X5 5G. This new version of MIUI will make the recently launched device better, smoother, and more accurate. Also, the update was previously released in Europe, India, and Global ROMs and it is now live in Taiwan.
As per the information, the owners of POCO X5 5G living in Taiwan will be able to identify the MIUI 14 software update based on Android 13 via the MIUI build version V14.0.2.0.TMPTWXM. In addition, the features and optimizations of the latest update are included in a massive package size of 3.4 gigabytes.
The MIUI 14 is more swift and reliable as compared to MIUI 14, it even uses less memory and incorporates various elements of Android 13. The list of features includes new super icons and big folders to make the work easy and efficient, it also provides the system a new look and feel along with a reimagined user interface.
The update further offers improved system architecture to boost the performance of both pre-installed and third-party apps while saving power. With MIUI 14, more than 30 scenes support end-to-end privacy with no data stored in the cloud and all actions performed locally on the device.
Other than this, there is much more to explore such as better interconnectivity, the ability to block notifications permanently, advanced search in settings, new wallpapers, and so on. Alongside this, it will also offer improved security and better reliability for the system with the April 2023 Android security patch.

However, the update is rolling out in Taiwan and is released via OTA. Thus you can check and download the update manually by following some simple steps. Visit the Settings of your phone, now tap on the System and Update menu. Look for the latest MIUI version and then hit the Download and Install button.
