The December 2023 security update arrives with version S911BXXS3BWKC, S916BXXS3BWKC, and S918BXXS3BWKC for Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones respectively, in the Middle East. It has a 372.15 MB package size.

The Android 14 rollout is in progress for the Samsung Galaxy smartphones all around the world. The Galaxy devices have now started getting a new software update, not a major OS update, but brings an important security patch for the device.
The latest update brings the December 2023 security patch for the Galaxy S23 series in the US. The update improves system security and stability by fixing a bundle of security flaws. It makes the S23 trio the first device or series to get the latest December update.

According to the official information, the December 2023 security patch includes fixes of more than 60 vulnerabilities, of which 50 are of Google and others of Samsung. These include buffer overflow, AR Emoji, KnoxCustom Service, bootloader, SmartManager, Knox Guard, and Contacts.
