After the Galaxy Note 20 series, Samsung now started rolling out the September 2020 security patch to the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone.

The software version of this update is N950FXXUDDTH1 and currently rolling out in European countries. It should soon be available in other regions.

Apart from the security patch, the latest software update doesn’t bring any other features. You can also expect a few minor bug fixes.
If you have the Galaxy Note 8 and want to check for the latest software update manually, just take your phone and open the device Settings and tap on the Software update menu.
